1.Who we are and what this policy covers
This Privacy Policy describes how DepositHive ("DepositHive," "we," "us") collects, uses, and shares personal information when you visit deposithive.com (the "Site") or communicate with us. It applies to the Site only. DepositHive's deposit services are governed by the additional privacy disclosures provided at account opening.
Questions about this policy or your information can be sent to [email protected].
2.Information we collect
We collect only the information described below.
Information you provide to us
- Account request form. If you submit the form on the Site, we receive the information you enter: your name, email address, state, the number of doors you manage, and anything you write in the optional message field.
- Email. If you write to [email protected] or [email protected], we receive your email address and the contents of your message.
Information collected automatically
- Server logs. Like most websites, our hosting infrastructure may record standard technical information about visits, such as IP address, browser type, pages requested, and timestamps, for security and operational purposes.
- No cookies, no analytics. The Site does not set cookies and does not run analytics or advertising trackers. If that changes, we will update this policy and, where required, request your consent first.
3.How we use information
We use the information described above to:
- Respond to your account request or inquiry and correspond with you about it;
- Operate, secure, and troubleshoot the Site;
- Keep records of our communications with you;
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms & Conditions.
We do not use your information for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects, and we do not send marketing email lists you have not asked to join.
4.How information is shared
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share personal information with third parties for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share information only as follows:
- Service providers. The account request form is processed by Formspree, Inc., which receives your submission and delivers it to us. Formspree's handling of that data is described in its own privacy policy at formspree.io/legal/privacy-policy. Our email is handled by our email provider. Fonts are served by Google Fonts and one script is served by the unpkg content delivery network; when your browser requests those files, those providers receive your IP address and standard request data.
- Legal requirements. We may disclose information if we believe in good faith that disclosure is required by law, subpoena, or other legal process, or is necessary to protect the rights, safety, or property of DepositHive, our visitors, or others.
- Business transfers. If DepositHive is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this policy or successor terms that will be posted.
5.Retention
We keep form submissions and email correspondence for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to you, maintain business records, and meet legal obligations, and we delete or anonymize information when it is no longer needed. You may request deletion at any time as described in Section 6, and we will honor the request unless we are legally required to retain the information.
6.Your choices and rights
You can browse the Site without providing any personal information. If you have submitted information, you may ask us to:
- Tell you what personal information we hold about you;
- Correct information that is inaccurate;
- Delete your information;
- Provide a copy of the information you gave us.
Send requests to [email protected] from the email address concerned. We will verify the request and respond within the time required by applicable law. Depending on where you live, including California and other U.S. states with consumer privacy laws, you may have specific statutory versions of these rights; we honor the requests above for all visitors regardless of residence, and we do not discriminate against anyone for exercising them. Because we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, there is nothing to opt out of on that front, and the Site does not respond differently to browser "Do Not Track" or Global Privacy Control signals because it performs no tracking to limit.
7.Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures appropriate to the nature of the information we handle, including transport-layer encryption (HTTPS) for the Site and its form. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please do not include sensitive information, such as financial account numbers or government identifiers, in the form or in email; nothing on this Site requires it.
8.Children
The Site is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact [email protected] and we will delete it.
9.Visitors outside the United States
The Site is operated from the United States and is intended for U.S. audiences. If you visit from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those of your jurisdiction. By using the Site you consent to that transfer.
10.Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date, and material changes will be noted prominently. Your continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
